Peli Vault V730 Tactical Rifle Case

The Peli™ Vault V730 is a long, rolling equipment case built for gear that simply won't fit anywhere else — tactical rifles with optics already mounted, camera tripods, C-stands, LED light tubes, musical instruments and other oversized equipment that needs to travel rugged and locked. A customisable foam interior and a weather-resistant shell mean it earns its keep whether it's riding in a truck bed, checked at an airport counter, or wheeled across a job site.

Built for the Long Haul

The high-impact polypropylene shell is crushproof, dustproof and weather-resistant, engineered to shrug off drops, rough handling and life in the back of a vehicle. A polymer O-ring seal runs the full perimeter of the lid, backed by an Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve (APEV) that lets interior pressure balance out on its own — handy after a flight or a drive up into the mountains — while still keeping water out. Six push-button latches snap the case shut securely yet open in a single motion, and stainless-steel hinge pins keep the lid tracking true trip after trip. A padlockable hasp adds an extra layer of security for transport or storage. Worth noting: Vault cases are built to be weather- and water-resistant rather than fully submersible, which sets them apart from Peli's Protector and Air lines — for gear that never needs to survive being dunked, that's a sensible trade for a lighter, more manageable case.

Four Layers of Foam, Built to Cradle Your Gear

Inside, four layers of protective foam are deep enough to cradle a rifle with an optic already mounted, so there's no need to strip the sight off before every trip. The layered structure spreads impact evenly along the length of the case and stops long, awkward-shaped items from shifting in transit — exactly the kind of movement that scratches a lens, knocks zero off a scope, or bends fragile equipment.
