Built Tough
The shell is high-impact polypropylene, moulded to resist crushing, dust ingress and driving rain, sealed by a polymer O-ring that runs the full length of the lid. Four push-button latches give secure closure with fast, easy-open access, backed up by stainless-steel hinge pins, heavy-duty ergonomic handles for carrying real weight, and a padlockable hasp for when the case needs to stay shut on its own. Worth noting: like the rest of the Vault range, the V600 is weather- and water-resistant rather than submersible — for full underwater protection, Peli's Protector and Air lines are the ones built for that job.
Four Layers of Foam, Built for Bulk
Every V600 ships with four layers of Pick N Pluck foam already inside. Pull the pre-scored cubes out by hand to carve a cavity around the exact shape of what's going inside — no blades, no measuring, no trial runs. With this much depth to work with, the foam can be shaped around genuinely bulky items or split into several compartments for a full kit.
What It's For
Larger camera rigs and lenses, drones, lighting kits, firearms and mounted optics, electronics, instruments and tools — anything too big for the smaller Vault cases but still valuable enough to demand a lockable, custom-fit, crushproof home.
