A moulded O-ring gasket forms the watertight seal, while the automatic pressure equalisation valve quietly balances pressure inside and out — so the lid still opens cleanly after a flight, a mountain ascent or a swing in temperature, with no vacuum fighting you.

Store the case with the latches unclipped to take the pressure off the gasket between uses.
